Registers two shots
Rayan registered two shots (zero on goal) in Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Manchester City.
Analysis: Rayan ended his three-match scoring streak Tuesday, recording two shots but not finding a clear shot on net. This keeps the forward at five goals and two assists heading into the final match of the campaign, likely to start on the right flank as he has since February.
Scores lone goal
Rayan scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 1-0 win against Fulham.
Analysis: Rayan scored the game's only goal to give Bournemouth three critical points as the side tries to grab a Europe spot for next season. The forward will have a tough time replicating this feat against Manchester City, a team which has only allowed 32 goals this season in EPL play.
Scores again
Rayan scored one goal to go with five shots (one on goal) in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Rayan continued a productive stretch Sunday as he scored yet another goal, finding the back of the net in the 77th minute. This marks his second straight match with a goal, now with a goal contribution in three straight outings. This brings the forward to four goals and two assists in 12 appearances (10 starts).
Nets for draw
Rayan scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Wednesday's 2-2 draw against Leeds United.
Analysis: Rayan scored Wednesday, making the most of a pair of shots and putting both on target. He only scored once from the two shots but he was threatening every time he got on the ball. Rayan should continue to be a big contributor to close out the season, especially if he can be efficient with his chances.
Sets up opener
Rayan assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 victory against Newcastle United.
Analysis: Rayan ended a six-game drought without a goal contribution by setting up the opener. The winger had burst onto the scene following his signing, registering two goals and one assist in his first three games, before going quiet in the period that followed. He remained active during that barren stretch however, accumulating 10 shots and seven chances created across those six games.
Scores in midweek victory
Rayan scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and two chances created in Tuesday's 2-1 win versus Everton. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 58th minute.
Analysis: Rayan made the score sheet by heading Adrien Truffert's cross in the 61st minute of this game. The Brazilian has now been directly involved in a goal in each of his three Premier League appearances and has taken three shots in two straight starts since transferring from Vasco da Gama in January. He took over a starting spot for the last two matches, with his inclusion on the right side of a three-man attacking midfield pushing Alex Jimenez to a full-back spot and Adam Smith to the bench.
Signs with Bournemouth
Rayan has completed a transfer to Bournemouth from Vasco da Gama, according to his new club.
Analysis: Rayan is on his way to England from Brazil this season, with the 19-year-old joining the Cherries for a club-record signing fee. Still early in his career, he has bagged 101 appearances, scoring an impressive 25 goals. He is viewed as a prolific player who should fight for time in the coming years, likely to only earn more of a rotational to reserve role this season.
