Records assists in season finale
Maffeo assisted once to go with eight crosses (two accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 3-0 victory over Oviedo.
Analysis: Maffeo should be one of several Mallorca players who should find a way to remain in LaLiga in the 2026/27 season. The right-back has proven to be a reliable two-way contributor, and his assist Saturday was his second of the season. In 31 appearances (30 starts), he also had one goal, 98 clearances, 67 tackles, 20 chances created and 85 crosses (28 accurate).
Struggles with accuracy
Maffeo generated five crosses (two accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 2-0 loss against Levante.
Analysis: Maffeo was able to have two accurate crosses, which wasn't great but still made him the most efficient crosser on the team on Sunday. The defender should be involved in the attack next week against Oviedo but a win won't necessarily guarantee safety from relegation for Mallorca.
Suspension over
Maffeo is no longer injured and is an option for play moving forward.
Analysis: Maffeo is back from his ban after only a match out, set to return for the final three match days. This will give the club their starting right-back as he should return to that spot immediately, starting in 27 of his 28 appearances this season while bagging one goal and an assist.
